Who we are.

Mob Support specialise in support coordination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander client's living with or without disability in the Pilbara region. That includes helping you to spend your beneficiary funding in the best way for you and your mob. At Mob Support, we believe that while money can't buy you happiness, it sure can buy things that make life easier!

How we help.

If you are a beneficiary of Gumala, IBN, BNTAC or any other Aboriginal Corporation, we can help you cut the paperwork and start benefiting from your funding. Kids need school supplies? We can get it ordered. Uniforms? Done! Health Insurance? Yep, let's get it! Medical appointments and travel to the city? Let's go. Mentoring, Coaching or Tutoring? Help with employment access? Training and Education? Home improvements? We can help you access all of it without having to fill in loads of forms each time.​

 

What we do.

Simply put, we do support coordination for everyone. Or as we like to call it: "life support", because our clients tell us that's how life-changing it is. What is support coordination or "life support"? It is having someone specially assigned to you and your family to find out what your goals and dreams are. Then that person helps you get the support you need to achieve your dreams using all the beneficiary funding, free government services and other supports available to you. Our people are there to make your life easier and take away the painful paperwork and form-filling barriers to mob living better! Sounds pretty good, huh? We reckon everyone should have a life support person (support coordinator) in their life!

Why we're the best.

We're a humble bunch and we don't normally like to brag but when it comes to supporting Pilbara mob...well, no-one comes close because we have lived experience of the challenges people face in the Pilbara with getting support, gaining access to services and using their beneficiary funds. We've eaten the flies, breathed in the ore and our clothes and hearts are stained red from the dirt. We know the Pilbara. What is it we're the best at? Empowering individuals and families by providing tailored support to connect you to the services and support you deserve.

How Does it Work.

Introducing "the form to end all forms"! Once we have explained to you what we do and had a chat, you can choose to sign a form from your corporation that allows us authority to fill in and submit all forms on your behalf to spend your beneficiary funding with you only needing to give your verbal consent each time. And we create a custom plan for how you want to spend your beneficiary funds each year so you can track where your at. If you are getting close to the end of a funding period and there is money unspent, we will give you a call to see if you want to spend it before your lose it. We understand the rules around how beneficiary funds can be spent and we work with you and the co-corporations to make sure that funds are spent to achieve maximum life impact for members and their kids. We are completely transparent, above-board and committed to maximum community impact at a grass-roots level. We put our heart into supporting you get the most out of life.
